The Citi Rewards Card offers a first-year annual fee waiver, and students are eligible to apply. It provides 5X points for mobile payments and 3X points for contactless payments. Points can be converted to miles, where mobile payments yield HK$3 per mile and contactless payments yield HK$5 per mile, and the points have no expiration date.

  • On or before 1 January 2026: The card must be approved by Citibank
  • Within first 30 days after card approval: Have accumulated eligible transactions of HK$4,000
  • Designated Cards include Citi Octopus Platinum Card, Citi Cash Back Card, Citi Rewards Card, Citi Rewards UnionPay Card & Citi Premier Miles Card ; not applicable to student cards

Tips

  • Please turn off AdBlocker and private mode before application: 3 settings to ensure coupon reward eligibility
  • Have your mobile phone and HKID ready before application! You are advised to upload all required documents when you apply for the card to facilitate the approval process. Don't forget to note down your application reference number. It can be used for checking your application status and claiming MoneyHero exclusive offer.
  • The redemption process may take at least 16 weeks upon campaign period ends, depending on the actual situation regarding user approval and transaction status or other factors that may affect eligibility for the Promotion Reward
