Where is the Centurion Lounge in Hong Kong located?

The Centurion Lounge in the Hong Kong International Airport is located on Level 7 of Terminal 1, operating Monday to Sunday, from 7:00 am to 12:00 am. Conveniently accessible via the escalator near Gate 60, the Centurion Lounge is located on the same level as the Plaza Premium Lounge and the Priority Pass lounge (Chase Sapphire Lounge). This provides cardholders of the Platinum Card with seamless access, allowing them to enjoy the amenities of multiple airport lounges in a single visit.

 

Who can access the Centurion Lounge?

In Hong Kong, there are currently two AMEX credit card options that provide complimentary access to the Centurion Lounges: the Platinum Card (including Business and Corporate Platinum Cards) and the Centurion Card, which is widely known as the Black Card. With either of these cards, holders can enjoy unlimited access to AMEX lounges worldwide. To gain entry, simply present your same-day boarding pass, valid physical credit card, and a physical government-issued identification document such as passport. However, it is important to note that passengers with standby tickets or non-revenue standby status may not access the lounge unless they hold a boarding pass with a confirmed seat or zone assignment. 

Obtaining the Centurion Card may be challenging, as it is available only through invitation and carries an annual fee of HK$38,800. Fortunately, the Platinum Card offers a much more accessible option for most individuals seeking to gain access to the Centurion Lounge. Although the minimum income requirement for the Platinum Card is unspecified, its annual fee is significantly lower than that of the Centurion Card, standing at HK$9,500.

 

Can I bring guests into the Centurion Lounge?

Yes, you can. Cardholders of the HK Platinum Card have the privilege of bringing two guests with them into the Centurion Lounge at no additional cost. Better yet, this benefit extends to both primary and supplementary cardholders, allowing each cardholder to enjoy the lounge’s amenities and services alongside two complimentary guests.

 

What Amenities Can I Enjoy at the Centurion Lounge?

The Centurion Lounge provides a wide range of complimentary amenities and services, available on a first-come, first-served basis with no advance reservations required. Specific offerings may vary from one lounge to another, and certain facilities such as spa services, wine tasting areas, conference rooms, family rooms, and luggage lockers may be available only at select locations. However, across all Centurion Lounges, guests can typically enjoy the following facilities and offerings:

  • Member Services Professionals available to assist with current travel itineraries, book future travel, address Card inquiries, make restaurant reservations, and handle other requests raised by members
  • Freshly prepared food, beverages, snacks, etc.
  • Signature cocktails, premium spirits, and curated wines
  • High-speed Wi-Fi
  • Semi-private workspaces
  • TVs and a Digital Library of magazines and newspapers

The HK Centurion Lounge features a dedicated workspace, phone rooms, and conference facilities tailored to meet the needs of business travelers. Guests can also access print, fax, and copy equipment for added convenience. For those seeking refreshment before a long flight, shower suites are available in the HK Centurion Lounge, with each session lasting 15 minutes, and no additional charges apply. Moreover, the HK Centurion Lounge offers a cozy dining area, featuring a mix of delicately prepared Western and locally-inspired cuisines.
