These are some of the common ways to access airport lounges in Hong Kong.
Business/First Class Ticket
Many airline business and first-class passengers get complimentary lounge access as a ticket benefit. However, upgrading costs can be high and its not always easy to upgrade your ticket with miles.
Pay for a day pass
Some lounges may offer passes for 2-10 hours of use, for the Plaza Premium Lounges at the Hong Kong airport, prices start at HK$640 for a 2-hour use pass.
Priority Pass Membership
Priority Pass is a membership program that gives you access to over 1,000 airport lounges worldwide. Getting a Priority Pass membership can cost you US$99 -US$469 a year, depending on the membership tier. For the cheapest membership, you'll still need to pay US$35 each time you access a priority pass lounge. For the highest tier, you'll have unlimited free access to its member lounges. Some credit cards come with a free Priority Pass membership.
Credit Card Perk

The Plaza Premium Lounges are undoubtedly one of the most popular lounges at the Hong Kong Airport. The Plaza Premium Group has been voted the Best Airport Lounge by SkyTrax for four consecutive years. While its best lounges are located in the UK, Hong Kong's lounges are also quite impressive.

Plaza Premium Lounge is a privately operated lounge, there are four locations at the Hong Kong airport, currently all in the departure hall:

Plaza Premium First offers a bar and a more luxurious dining experience. It is now reserved for eligible travellers (business/ first class) and members of partner airlines such as Singapore Airlines and Turkish Airlines. Travellers may choose to pay for access to this lounge, passes are available via the Plaza Premium Lounge website from HK$960 for a 3-hour stay.
Tips: The lounges at Gate 1 and Gate 60 are the most popular, both lounges cover around 15,000 sq ft, offering 300 seats. The lounge at Gate 1 is closer to the security checkpoints and thus attracts more travellers, you may want to think about seeking out the lounge at Gate 60 if possible.
Good to know: Plaza Premium Lounges offer a buffet spread with complimentary drinks. The most popular item is the signature fish ball soup noodle, probably the best noodle soup you can have at the airport. Many passengers visit just to enjoy it! Passes start at HK$640 for a 2-hour stay or you may access it if your credit card offers free visits.
Citi PremierMiles Credit Card
Cardholders of the Citi PremierMiles Card can access Plaza Premium Lounges 12 times per year for free as long as they spend HK$5,000 in the month after each visit. They also get free travel insurance by putting their plane ticket or hotel charges on the card.
