  • Cardholders are entitled to the annual fee waiver in the first year so long as Cardholders meet the relevant criteria in the last two months prior to the annual fee billing month. First-year annual fee will be charged on the third month from Card opening date.

  • "New Standard Chartered clients" refer to those who must fulfill the requirements of both "New cardholders" and "New banking clients" simultaneously as listed below:

    • "New Cardholders" are applicants who do not currently hold and have not cancelled any principal card of Standard Chartered Credit Card or MANHATTAN Credit Card issued by Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited in the past 6 months from the date of approval of their current applications for a principal card of the Standard Chartered Credit Cards.
    • "New Clients" refer to those who are NOT holding any banking products or services with or distributed by the Bank (including but not limited to deposit account, investment service and insurance products underwritten by the third party insurer) in past 12 months from the date of signing up for Priority Private/Priority Banking except Standard Chartered Credit Cards.
  • To enjoy the full benefits of Standard Chartered Cathay Mastercard - Priority Banking, cardholder is required to be an existing Priority Banking client or a New Banking Client who signs up for Priority Banking upon card application. The cardholder is also required to maintain HK$1,000,000 or above Average Daily Relationship Balance starting from the second calendar month from card issuance date.
