That there are many factors involved with the price of car insurance. The vehicle's age and original price are two factors that dictate what your insurance rate is. Luxury cars and sports cars are also usually at the top of the list of cars that are both expensive to buy, and to insure.
In the United States, the most expensive car to insure is the Nissan GT-R. Also called Godzilla by car fans, it is a fast car with a price tag of over USD$100,000 (=~HKD$775,156)! It also costs over USD $3,500 (=~HKD$27,130) per year to insure. Yikes! Right behind it as the most expensive car to insure is the Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG Convertible, followed by the Dodge SRT Viper, both still in the USD$3,300~USD $3,500 (=~HKD$25,580~HKD$27,130) range.
